I’m more than my trauma. The trauma I survived is part of my story but it isn’t my entire story. My story isn’t even over yet! My survivorship is part of who I am but it isn’t all of who I am; I’m so much more than any one thing. Or rather, all of these experiences have shaped me & who I am, threads I’ve messily but beautifully woven together into the tapestry telling the story of my life.
