The Art of Happy Mail π
The Art of Happy Mail π
I've been writing letters for over 20 years. Growing up, I corresponded regularly with my Mormor, Aunt Margareta, Aunt Martha Jane, Grandma, & Grandpa by way of snail mail.
β¨
I love sending mail to my penpals - & I love opening my mailbox to find letters from my friends & family. It's like a ray of sunshine & brightens even the gloomiest of days!

Reminders for writing letters
I know a lot of us want to write more mail &/also get stuck because we feel intimidated BUT sending mail doesn't have to be scary! I want to remind you thatβ¦
π Snail mail is on your schedule! You don't have to write weekly or monthly or consistently (unless you want to).
π Your handwriting is good enough. It doesn't have to be beautiful but try to aim for legible!
π Typing letters is perfectly okay too! If writing by hand hurts too much &/or typing is more accessible, try typing & printing out your letters.
π Don't know what to say? Here are some ideas. Something you're looking forward to β¨ A hot take or unpopular opinion β¨ What you've working on β¨ 3 things that have made you happy this week β¨ Something you're excited about β¨ 2 things you've been enjoying β¨ Share a book recommendation β¨ Share a movie recommendation β¨ Ask questions! β¨ Not feeling any of these? Google βpenpal prompts.β
π Whatever you send is perfect because it will brighten the recipient's day. Pinky promise!
