No is a complete sentence.
You don’t owe anyone a reason to say no. Let’s practice setting stronger & more fearless boundaries. Don’t sandwich your “no” between justifications & (over)explaining. Sometimes, a simple “no” is enough. Sometimes, simply saying “no” can be liberating, especially for those of us who are people-pleasers &/also survivors who might be afraid to say “no.”
